This is a story of Boy Meets Girl. The boy, Tom Hanson of Margate, N.J., grew up believing that he’d never truly be happy until the day he met The One. This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total misreading of the movie ‘The Graduate.’The girl, Summer Finn of Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parents’ marriage, she’d onlyloved two things. The first was her long, dark hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off and feel nothing.Tom meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately she is who he’s been searching for. This is a story of Boy Meets Girl, but you should know up front, this is not a Love Story.

My Leadership Story

I’m born from unpretentious family that just have pride to fight on in order to survive, when i was a child, my family condition is not very good, mom and dad always try to give me best nutrition whereas they just eat with tiny sea fish and little salt. When I’m 17th i look back and realize how they fight for their first son to be succeed. And i always set like they want and put very high expectation on me.

Has been 4 years since i realize i should not let my self down, must be independent, and tough. I realize, Everything’s a choice. Things depend on how you want it to be. I choose for being follower first, so i know how it feels when you lead by someone. Then i know how to be a good leader. I learn and learn, keep learning until this second. For me, there’re should be any step before you being a leader, one of it is you have to lead your self first. Then everything’s will be easier when under control.

My favorite leadership experience when i’m joining AIESEC, an international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. AIESEC teach me allocate my best effort for any opportunity ahead with best process and result objective, how to always be ready in every situation faced, having high composure in chaos, and Find the silverlining. Share thousand, even million network arround the globe. I become Manager and the team leader of External communication and non coorporate sector. We’re deal with media relation, UKM, and NGO.

I also take a part on many different thing that expect me to be a tough and being a good leader. I’m being presenter on padang TV on 2009, Language ambasador for West Sumatra in 2010, Teaching english in ELS on 2011, Liason Officer in Tour De Singkarak 2011 for 3 teams, and being delegates for Indonesia in international conference IYEP 5 also in 2011. For me The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts. And i keep chasing my dream working in Foreign ministry.

I’m enjoyed my life and always thankfull to allah swt for every breath on me. I always learn for being better and wise person. The capacity to learn is a gift. The ability to learn is a skill. The WILLINGNESS to learn is a choice.

Thank You,

Sincerely

Loveandiyo Mariandika Ramadhana
